Awarded ACS Fall 2014 Innovative Project Grant

Members of the Hiram College (HC) and Kent State University (KSU) student ACS chapters (SAACS) collaborated with the  Akron Local Section to apply for the Innovative Project Grant.  The ACS Local Section Activities Committee (LSAC) has approved to fund the proposal, entitled “Northeast Ohio Graduate School in Chemistry and Biochemistry Symposium”, in the amount of $1,500!

The event idea was designed to bring undergraduates from the many institutions in the Northeast Ohio region together for a fun and informative evening. As undergraduates pursuing a wide range of career opportunities, the HC and KSU SAACS students are excited for the additional insight this event will provide, and look forward to this becoming a larger annual event.
